Apple is increasing its expertise in generative artificial intelligence to adapt it to iPhones and iPads, as the world's largest company by market value seeks to capitalize on technology that revolutionized the industry this year."
The tech giant is hiring dozens of roles across offices in California, Seattle, Paris, and Beijing that will work on large language models or LLMs, software that can produce reasonable text, images, or code in response to simple prompts.
All jobs were announced between April and July, as Apple was working on ambitious long-term research projects that will affect the future of Apple and its products.
